DESCRIPTION

The aim of this program is to equip students for an exciting and dynamic career in the fast- growing worldwide Hospitality and Tourism Industry. The program is focused on developing the knowledge and skills needed to effectively and successfully manage different types of hotels such as Resorts, Clubs and Casinos

LEARNING OUTCOMES

Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:

  •  Examine all the functional areas of a Hotel, Casino and Resorts and critically evaluate the principles that influence them.
  • Effectively choose and apply management strategies and principles for a Hotel, Casino and Resort.
  • Determine the Hotel, Casino and Resorts related trends.
  • Justify and support the role of Hotels, Casinos and Resorts for the local, regional and global economy.

PATHWAY TO GLION

Option 1

After comparing and matching the curriculum of the two institutions, Glion Institute of Higher Education recognizes a combination of subject courses from the four-year program of Hotel, Casino and Resort Management (Bachelor).

Students have the opportunity to take one (1) semester plus optional internship (24 week internship) at Glion and obtain a transcript with credits counted toward their home degree.

Option 2

Students who successfully complete the four-year program of Hotel, Casino and Resort Management (Bachelor) have the opportunity to continue their studies for the award of a Master’s degree at Glion.
