Mesoyios College is thrilled to announce the successful launch of its new initiative: regular semesterly meetings between the College Council, Management, and students. The inaugural session, held on May 8th, 2025, marked a milestone in fostering transparency and collaboration. During this dynamic meeting, the College Management shared Mesoyios’ vision for academic excellence and student empowerment, while students engaged directly with leadership to voice their concerns and ideas.
Key outcomes from the first meeting included updates on:
-
Immigration process improvements, such as faster Entry Permit issuance, digital transformation at the Migration Department, and preparations for Cyprus’ Schengen Area application.
-
Expanded job placement support via the upgraded Student Affairs & Support Office (SASO), including part-time, seasonal, and post-graduation opportunities.
-
Enhanced academic and financial benefits, including scholarships, tuition discounts and other important initiatives for our students.
-
Strengthened SASO services, from accommodation assistance to free counselling and bank account guidance.
Students praised the opportunity to address topics like Erasmus Plus mobilities, class schedules, and work regulations directly with decision-makers.
Following the Council’s decision, these meetings will now occur once every semester, ensuring continuous dialogue and actionable feedback. “The May 8th meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to student success,” said the College Management. “Together, we’re shaping Mesoyios graduates into the hospitality industry’s most competitive professionals.”
