A Blessed Beginning: Mesoyios College Celebrates the Start of the 2025-2026 Academic Year

by | Oct 4, 2025

Mesoyios College was honoured to commence the new academic year with a traditional blessing ceremony, held on the morning of Friday, October 3, 2025, on our main campus. The ceremony, a cherished annual tradition, was a moment of reflection, inspiration, and community, setting a positive and spiritual tone for the months ahead.

We were profoundly grateful to have His Grace Bishop Nikolaos of Amathous officiate the blessing. His Grace’s presence and heartfelt prayers for our students, faculty, and staff provided a profound sense of purpose and divine guidance for the upcoming academic journey.

The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, reflecting the strong ties between the College and the wider community. We were privileged to welcome Members of Parliament and other official dignitaries, whose support for our institution and its mission is deeply valued.

In his address, Bishop Nikolaos emphasized the importance of pursuing knowledge with wisdom, integrity, and a commitment to serving society. He encouraged students to embrace the opportunities ahead, not only as a path to academic excellence but also as a journey of personal and ethical growth.

The ceremony was attended by the College’s leadership, including the President, members of the Board, heads of departments, and administrative staff, all united in their hopes for a successful and productive year.

This sacred gathering reinforces the core values of Mesoyios College, where education is seen as a holistic endeavour, nurturing the mind, character, and spirit. As our campus once again buzzes with energy and ambition, we move forward with faith and confidence, ready to build a future of knowledge, innovation, and positive impact.

We extend our sincere gratitude to His Grace Bishop Nikolaos, our esteemed guests, and every member of the Mesoyios College community for making this a truly memorable start to the 2025-2026 academic year.

May the year be fruitful and inspiring for all!
