Mrs. Yiota Vasileiou holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s Degree in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds, UK. She has been actively working as an English Language Instructor and she is now completing more than ten years of hands-on teaching experience. Since 2014, she has been the head of the English language department in Entelecheia Private Institute in Limassol and she also holds the position of Associate Lecturer for Canterbury Christ Church University as well as the position of English Lecturer at Alexander College since 2019. Her research interests mainly revolve around second language acquisition and second language speech learning, oral fluency development and new technologies in language learning and teaching.
